Delighted with my CAT6 network installed by Martin.
He was able to get cabling through in awkward hard-to-reach places, and even left our house in a better state than he found it, offering to also tidy up a dodgy coax setup from the previous homeowner.

Martin installed a data network service, that was badly needed, as the wifi was very poor around the house & his knowledge & expertise in what we required was invaluable.
We now have really strong wifi all around the house & a hardwired ethernet port for my work computer. He also tidied up all the old sky cabling & the internet cabling.
His work is first class & so tidy. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Martin to friends & family for all their AV/Data needs.

A few months ago Martin wall mounted my flat screen TV and I couldn't be happier with the results.
Martin put in extra power points and tidied up the the work of the Sky and Virgin engineers in doing so.
He listened to the numerous requests i.e getting as flush as possible, allowing a USB extension etc, and made sure everything was as I had wanted.
He was extremely professional and tidy throughout and I would recommend for any future work.

Martin was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout each aspect of dealing with him.
He provided a detailed estimate and advised of products which would help achieve my aim. In addition to this he was very forthcoming when advising that installing some things were not really required. A lesser contractor would have just sold me them regardless.
The install was a success and I was delighted with the workmanship. Martin also turned up each time he said he would and this is something that other contractors fail at massively. This simple thing of turning up on time and when they say they will seems like a minor detail but having been let down by others in the past it really is refreshing to see a contractor do the little things right which make the customers life all the easier.

I found Martin Watson AV whilst researching possible suppliers for a new Home Cinema system and data network for our new home.
The impressive customer testimony led me to contacting Martin, and also prompted me to now leave this feedback.
Martin came out to visit and discuss what we were thinking we wanted to do. He couldn't have been more patient, knowledgeable and helpful, offering suggestions all throughout.
The subsequent quote process was very detailed and he was responsive to all subsequent questions. All the work was carried out over three days and I was especially taken not only by his technical knowledge but the professional and skilled nature of his practical implementation. For example, the Dolby Atmos speaker system has been integrated beautifully into the cinema room, you wouldn't know it was a recent addition to the room. I'm still not quite sure how he managed to network it all around the house.
Since the Install has been completed, Martin has returned twice to deal with issues caused by BT and Sky, no charge, despite it being a fair distance away for him.
No question too stupid - no request to hard. He wasn't leaving till we were fully satisfied.
Would I recommend him to others - I already have, and will do again. We've more work planned in the New Year, and I am absolutely confident it will be executed to the same high exacting standards he obviously sets for himself.

I cannot compliment Martins work enough.
A true hands on expert with all the in depth technical knowledge to back it up! He also has the patience of a saint and will answer a million and one questions (some silly) until you are satisfied as a customer haha. He was also willing to give guidance on products I was buying which I thought made his service even more excellent.
A true pro and gentleman into the mix, will be using him for audio instalment in the near future and anything else that pops up!

Martin was first class both in his knowledge and work he carried out.
We were worried that we might need to re-decorate both our Lounge and grand children's play room after the TVs were installed since the positioning of the TVs were far from TV points and power points. However Martin's ingenuity enabled him to carry out the work with no mess and resulted in no re-decoration needed.
I am so delighted we used Martin for this work and would 100% recommend him to anyone. I certainly would use him again for any additional work we require to be carried out.

I recently purchased a new build property and after a bad experience in my previous house, wanted to do it properly this time around.
From my initial conversation with Martin before I'd even moved in, I could tell that he was both passionate about his subject matter, and also extremely knowledgeable.
As a techy myself, this matters to me as I like to work with people who understand my requirements. After meeting Martin at my property before we had moved in to discuss my requirements he gave me some great ideas about things I hadn't considered and I ended up with a fairly significant shopping list.
I wanted the following works completed: Full network cabling throughout the house, Wall mounting two TVs, Dolby Atmos home theatre setup, Full lighting replacement to 2 rooms, Speakers in the kitchen and dining room with Sonos Audio, Dual zone Nest heating system.
Communication throughout was excellent and work was completed in a professional and timely manner, exactly as Martin had promised. He took great care to minimise damage to the house (some degree of which is of course necessary given the type of work!) and even corrected a few issues with the house that I hadn't even noticed!
All in all, working with Martin was an excellent, professional and enjoyable experience. I'll certainly be straight on the phone to him next time I need anything done.

Martin provided a quote initially and gave some recommendations of what would suit the room. Advised on cabling etc and talked me through the process.
Liked what I heard and gave me confidence that he knew what he was talking about.
75 inch tv installed on the wall free standing speakers with cabling all hidden behind skirting and super neat - this was something that I was worried about prior to the works being carried out as I did not want any cables running along the floor as others had suggested.
In and out in a day and left nice and tidy.
Just watched Stranger Things on Netflix in UHD and it was mind blowing. Speakers are just perfect and sub whoofer is amazing.

I first contracted Martin in 2012 to help install a flat screen tv, and hook up a complex multi-room tv system. Since that time, we've had Martin back at least twice a year on various tasks, including installing a sound system and modifications to the tv system.
No job is too big, and no job is too small for him. I have the utmost confidence in his knowledge and abilities, and would highly recommend Martin to any new customers.
Just last week Martin fixed my Sky TV, after Sky Protect engineers had twice been to the house and failed to sort the issue. Martin diagnosed the likely problem from our call, and had the equipment to check and sort this quickly - that's knowledge and equipment that Sky's own "experts" did not have.
I agree with other's comments about Martin's friendly approach and attitude, and knowing he's there takes away that fear factor of using an unknown tradesman. If only there were more Martin's in the world!

We have an old house with thick walls and poor wifi. We required a new phone line, internet connection and wifi. Martin was recommended from a friend, and last week spent three days on several pieces of work.
1) Put a new phone line into the roof and put wires both into the attic and down via the walls under the house in the basement.
2) We have a new wifi access point into the house with excellent coverage throughout.
3) He set up two TV's one into the Lounge one into the kids room, wiring them both to the internet and also to both the kids Xbox and also the Sky HD.
4) The house is essentially wire free, the hub for the sky broadband and router is in a cupboard under the stairs.
5) Hard wired two computers one downstairs and one in the attic involving a huge amount of work!
5) Set up was all done by Martin, was easy and he was on time, professional and the best thing was that he essentially delivered solutions to our problems that several BT and other engineers were unable to offer. Most of all its all very simple and he has future proofed the whole system.
Price was very reasonable and it all works first time - if anyone is looking for some help and work for TV's, music or internet I could not recommend him more highly!
